PACKING
We offer you a personal service and can pack your cargo to meet your requirements. Our packers ensure that all items are positioned according to the type of cargo; therefore fragile cargo is stacked on top. Where necessary we will “bubble wrap” fragile items before placing on to the pallet.All palletized cargo is security banded and and strapped to ensure all packages stay in place. The security straps are designed for their strength and add to the safety of your cargo.
Where necessary or specifically requested palletized cargo can be bound in corrugated cardboard; this is in order to give added protection to fragile cargo e.g. electrical goods or glassware. All corrugated cardboard is once again secured with packing tape. At every stage we attempt to ensure extra added safety to your shipment.
To further safeguard your cargo, all palletized cargo is shrink wrapped in black plastic. This serves the purpose of:
- a. Protection against the elements.
- b. Security purposes.
We handle all cargo with the highest standards of care and attention. Palletizing cargo means that:
- a. Forklifts can be used to load and position cargo
- b. All items are together i.e. contained in one package – which avoids loose boxes being misplaced or stolen.
Small items can be packed into boxes to ensure their safety. These boxes are placed on small pallets so that they can be moved using a forklift truck.

SEA FREIGHT
This is when goods are sent via Sea in a shared container. We can arrange to collect goods from anywhere in the world, goods will be packed and clearly labeled. You will be issued with documents that relate to your goods and allow you to retrieve your cargo at its destination. We have a network of agents who will assist you with clearance and delivery of your cargo. If necessary your documents will be sent via courier to your address abroad.
Shipping lines charge by weight of cargo or by cubic size, whichever is greatest. Weight is measured per tonne and size by cubic meter. Once goods are packed, they are weighed and measured exactly so that you can be informed as to the exact cost of shipping

AIR FREIGHT
We are able to collect your goods from anywhere in the world. Please ensure you pack your goods so that they are easy for us to collect. We can provide you with packing materials if necessary. Light items should be packed in larger boxes and heavy or fragile items in smaller boxes so that they can be easily carried. Once your goods are in our warehouse if necessary we will re-pack / reinforce them so that they are fit for export. The airline either charge on the weight of your cargo or the space it takes up on the plane, the volume, whichever is greater.
Once your goods are finally packed we can inform you of the chargeable weight. We have a network of worldwide agents who will assist you with clearance and delivery of your cargo at its destination. Please ensure you make a packing list for your goods. For commercial shipment a copy of the commercial invoice is needed. If you are planning to ship any hazardous items please let us know in advance. We recommend that you take out insurance for your cargo – details available on request
